Annie the Baker

Yountville, California

Pastry Chef Annie the Baker is the world’s biggest fan of cookie dough, and now she brings you her creation - these chewy gooey mounds of decadent cookie goodness. Made from scratch and baked to perfection, Annie's cookies are filled with a wonderful blend of familiar flavors that are mildly rich, smooth and gentle. You’ll instantly enjoy the refreshing outer texture on the first bite, but just be sure to get ready for that silky soft tongue-teasing payoff when you hit that dough-like center. Sure, you could always toss a shrink-wrapped box of manufactured box/brick "cookies" into the shopping buggy during your next grocery run. But why bother??? These cookies are unlike anything you've eaten before - so treat yourself NOW!!! Just let your eyes start the tasting then give your mouth a bite ;-)

Our Story

My cookies are made specifically for those who love cookie dough more than the cookie.

Annie Baker is a prime example of a professional woman who finally decided to take a chance and change career direction, pursuing her true natural passion in the pastry arts.

Annie received her Accounting degree in 1991 from Saint Mary's College-Notre Dame, Indiana and immediately began working for large corporate banks in downtown Chicago. After ten years of "counting beans" and wow-ing co-workers with the sweet treats she made at home, Annie ventured West and enrolled in the Pastry Arts Program at CIA Greystone for more formal training. Annie was always creative and detail-oriented, but it was then and there that she gained the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to make the difficult transition from amateur home baker to professional pastry chef.

Annie spent five highly productive years as Pastry Chef of Mustards Grill, the mega-popular gourmet truck-stop/tourist trap in picturesque Napa Valley before birthing her own brainchild. From her hands to yours, the cookies you find here are the results of lots of love and sacrifice but even more scientific experimentation and careful planning and execution.
